Australian Aboriginal Child and Family Services – Family Voice, Family Choice
The Australian Aboriginal Child and Family Services asked us to produce a 3-minute animated documentary of an Indigenous family reflecting on their experience with the Family Group Conferencing (FGC) process.
‘Family Voice, Family Choice’ uses 2D animation to maintain interviewee anonymity while also describing the complex and delicate topics around Family Group Conferencing. Occasionally, the video cuts from the talking heads animation to animated artwork overlay, assisting their storytelling with simple but elegant symbology.
We provided various cut-downs of the hero video, one in particular had voice-over scripted by Gilay and spoken by John Simon laid over stunning animated artworks.
