Dungeons & Damper: Inside the D20

Wonnarua writer-directors and sisters, Maddison and George Coles, in collaboration with Goguljar Yok, invited our studio to create the animation for a 360-degree hybrid film, ‘Dungeons & Damper’. It’s an Indigenous spin on the classic tabletop role-playing game, Dungeons and Dragons.

With the impact of mining on Country and a lack of environmental care, the Spirits of Country have decided to teach a lesson. Showcasing the importance of traditional stories in the modern landscape, this journey recognises Indigenous culture as a continuous culture that weaves teachings through past, present, and future.

This free, immersive adventure took place as part of Vivid Festival 2026 at the UTS Data Arena on the final weekend of May.
