Hear Me Out: Australia Day x ABC Indigenous
We were honoured to partner with ABC Indigenous on their newest series “Hear Me Out: Australia Day”, that places Indigenous voices at the forefront of crucial national conversations. “Hear Me Out” is a compelling talk and interview series that reimagines how Australian society might engage with complex issues—by gathering diverse perspectives.
For this particular episode, which addresses the often contentious topic of Australia Day, we worked closely with the ABC Indigenous team to develop show title graphics and supers along with a VT (video-tape) package that brings to light the historical context of the date. This exploration of Australia Day focuses on its impact and significance for Indigenous communities, examining the complexities of the history tied to this day and the perspectives surrounding it.
Through our collaboration and an extensive ABC archive, we sought to create a visual narrative that not only informs but also honours the weight of this important discussion. The VT package serves to enhance the dialogue by presenting the history and its ongoing implications in a manner that is both respectful and thought-provoking, reflecting the depth and importance of this conversation for all Australians.
