Baiame’s Ngunnhu Festival
We were recently invited by Lily Shearer and Moogahlin Arts to create visuals for the 8th Baiame’s Ngunnhu Festival, held on the banks of the mighty Bawun River, Brewarrina.
The team had a lot of fun digitising artworks from the incredible Tommy Barker, Tracey Walford and Dianne Kelly.
We also experimented in Unreal Engine 5 to visualise Baiame’s return, a powerful scene that opened the ceremony.
Development Process
Each artist supplied us with still images of their wonderful artworks. Our 3D team dived right in, using the photographs to create models, paint textures, project elements, refine particles and finalise the timing allowing the audience to enjoy all the delicate details found throughout their work.
