Burra Learning Space Projections x Australian Museum
We’re excited to share our latest work with the Australian Museum: an immersive animated floor projection for the Burra Learning Space. Designed as a vibrant lead-in to GURUNGATCH AND MIRRIGAN, the floor projection envelopes visitors with colour, movement and sound from the moment they enter. Simultaneously, a custom five-minute countdown also plays on the wall, building anticipation and guiding audiences, young and old, to the main feature. Together, the wall and floor animations extend the storytelling environment, enriching the Dreaming narrative.
Developed in close collaboration with the Museum, the installation integrates seamlessly with the space, using light and motion to honour Gundungurra Country and its stories.
The Burra Learning Space is permanently open at the Australian Museum for all ages of the public to enjoy. Visit the Australian Museum website to organise your visit and witness the new addition to the Gurangatch and Mirrigan Theatre Space!
