National NAIDOC Week Awards Ceremony

In collaboration with our friends at Blacklock Media, Studio Gilay produced a kaleidoscopic tribute to Country for the NAIDOC Week Awards Ceremony 2023. Adapting the artwork of Bobbi Lockyer, our team produced a whopping total of 90 animated videos in 2 weeks, spanning Abstract, Tropical, Central Desert, Ocean and Escarpment themes, as well as paying respect to the broader National NAIDOC Week 2023 ‘For Our Elders’ poster art.

The final work was projected onto LED screens on the main stage of the Awards Ceremony, as backing plates to each award recipient and performer. The program aired on NITV and the ABC.
