ReachOut Australia – Deadly Directions

In 2024, Studio Gilay worked with ReachOut Australia once again to ideate and execute content to help First Nations students and their parents/carers to cope with exam stress entitled, Deadly Directions. We wrote, directed and produced a comic panel, an interactive quiz and a documentary series.

Time For You

We were excited to create a new comic with new characters, this time the story leaned into a parent/carer guiding their teenager to make time for themselves and to enjoy life, even in the midst of a stressful assignment.

Deadly Pathways

This is a fun quiz for teenagers thinking what they might do after school. The quiz leads high-schoolers to answer a series of questions that highlight the kind of fields they gravitate towards. The quiz demonstrates that your interests and passions are the driving force behind your future success. We researched and wrote the quiz questions, designed various characters and ten different gifs to reflect the final personalised career outcome a student reaches at the end of the quiz. Real People, Real You

We cast our net nationwide to enlist three First Nation students who were willing to share their stories of coping with exam stress, and everything this involves! Our team produced a number of documentaries for the ReachOut website as well as for social media. You can check out the videos here.
