Story of Country x NITV
NITV approached Studio Gilay with a request to produce an animation based on the beautiful mural by Ngarabal Gomeroi artist, Jeremy Worrall which is currently on show in the SBS building in Artarmon.
Our studio held a creative workshop with Jeremy and the NITV team to understand the cultural protocal around the artwork and its story. From this workshop, we were able to incorporate NITV and Aunty Rhoda Roberts script and embellish it for animation. We are quite proud of the result and know that we have done Aunty Rhoda’s words justice.
The 3 minute animation is displayed in the SBS atrium from December 2026.
