Wanmari

Studio Gilay collaborated with Writer/Artist Karen Rogers to make a fun adventure with a few mishaps along the way. Wanmari follows the story of a Ngalakgan woman’s bumpy family journey to catch a nailfish at her favourite fishing spot. They encounter an eagle on their escapade who inspires her to use her knowledge of Country.

We couldn’t be happier to see our short film, Wanmari be showcased in Flickerfest, 2022.
